Amazons Transportation team is seeking highly skilled and motivated person to help develop a and implement a world class security program for our transportation network which will ensure that our customers receive the items they purchase on time and at the best possible cost. The CSLP Manager will be responsible for partnering with fulfillment centers Sort Center & Delivery station Operations team spread across various cities within a region to execute company security policies and provide security services and asset (lives inventory in transit and within buildings equipment data & intellectual property) protection within the assigned location and the surrounding geography. The Manager is a key member of the Transportation organization working with the Regional team as well as cross functional teams throughout the organization. Perform risk assessment of site & operation model and frame mitigation measures
Possess a thorough understanding of central/state security issues and demonstrate excellence in ability to implement and ensure sites compliance with company security policies and any industry or merchant requirements.
Completing and/or coordinating the final Test and Acceptance of site security systems that leverage our access control system.
Establish and implement effective predictable measurable procedures/processes and prevention programs impacting losses pilferage accident trends and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses
Guide the team to perform frequent site security audits to identify all noncompliance equipment and/or processes at the site. Partner with the stakeholders to implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.
Ensure guarding vendor(s) have clear understanding of expectations and hold them accountable to deliver on them and meet or surpass service level agreement requirements. In addition work with the guarding vendors management to ensure that they recruit hire and retain candidates who raise the performance bar of the security services organization
Builds and deploys security training program
Serve as departments liaison and security subject matter expert
Effectively address safety and security incidents including potential and actual work place violence incidents per policy as well as conducting testing of the incident response plans.
Enhance track and report on metrics which are key performance indicators on security and loss prevention
Coordinate with various support teams such as the Worldwide Operations Security Team IT Security Network losses and Network Engineering as needed
Utilize Kaizen Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
Develops and build the team to perform and achieve cluster level organization goals on security and loss prevention areas

A day in the life
As a Cluster Loss Prevention Manager you are responsible for a team of Security and Loss Prevention professionals who provide security as a service to operational sites from across the Amazon supply chain within a geographical area of responsibility that make up a cluster. You will be accountable for the performance of Security and Loss Prevention within your cluster.
Thus you manage the daytoday tactical deployment of your team to manage security and loss prevention related workload.
You prioritize incoming workload and assess risks to ensure meeting service level agreements agreed with your internal customers and proactively avoid adverse impact to the business.
You coach your team and provide expert guidance throughout prevention intervention and investigation. Your team manages the daytoday operational activities; however you will take ownership when problems become complex.
You work with your team to identify evaluate and mitigate all security risks within your cluster and share findings and best practices with the wider business. You will be responsible for ensuring site compliance regular site audits and physical security posture of sites within your cluster. Additionally you will be responsible for budgetary planning for external service providers as well as the recruiting of your direct reports in your cluster.
Finally you engage senior management within your cluster to ensure a positive working relationship understand opportunities to support and provide security risk guidance.

Sitting within the Global Security Operations organisation Security and Loss Prevention supports the accomplishment of Amazons business targets and the strengthening of our brand by effectively protecting against relevant threats and by managing security and loss prevention risks that could:

Working in partnership with our stakeholders we secure the Amazon supply chain endtoend and promote security during business conversations.
We do this by preventing security and loss preventionrelated risks and vulnerabilities as early as possible intervening in unfolding incidents to minimize any negative impact as well as thoroughly investigating securityrelated incidents to identify and remove root causes preventing reoccurrence.
Minimum graduate with 8 years plus of experience on investigative or loss prevention field or relevant teams in operations preferably in a multinational environment
Or more than 10 years of armed forces or law enforcement service experience with at least 2 years of corporate Security/Loss Prevention Experience.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Advanced level of computer literacy including proficiency in MS office package
Strong communication skills & fluent knowledge of verbal & written English/ vernacular language
Demonstrated ability to deal with business tools & understand business metrics
Demonstrated ability to perform in pressure environment with adherence to timelines
Critical thinking & attention to detail of a narrative
Strong interpersonal skills & proven experience in managing stakeholders and vendors
Previous team management experience and handling regional roles taking care of multiple geographic spread
Proven ability to work with and effectively persuade facility site leaders and other key departments within the organization.
Analytical leader experienced in performance based action and results oriented management strong project manager and effective problemsolver.
Strong familiarity with data bases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL MYSQL Access Exception Based Reporting etc. is considered a plus.
Experience with delivery stations or cargo handling stations and transportation network security is preferred.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Security Certification such as CPP PCI CFE etc.
