We are currently recruiting
Occupational Therapists with empathy and the drive to make a difference finding creative ways to support people to achieve what they want to do and live as independently as possible in a place they call their home.
We need permanent full time Occupational Therapist to work across Lancashire as part of our Adult Services Short Term Support Service Occupational Therapy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals to achieve their goals and live independently in their homes.
- Collaborate with social work colleagues care providers and other partners.
- Develop and coach a reenabling approach and/or longerterm compensatory adaptations.
- Set and review therapeutic goals creating personcentred support plans.
- Mentor and support nonqualified staff ensuring high standards and quality of work.
- Participate in continual service development and access training opportunities.

Occupational Therapy applicants must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) to be appointed as an Occupational Therapist or have applied to register with the HCPC.

You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and you must be insured for business use. However we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
