Our Marketing Team is a qualitydriven flexible team that works cohesively towards a common goal creates a positive working environment and supports each other to combine individual strengths in order to enhance overall team performance.
The team excels at what they do especially during peak times. They develop all company marketing campaigns which include email social media print video advertisements and content for the website. The team also plans and manages online events and our presence at conferences.

SUMMARY
The Senior Events Specialist is a strategic and handson leader responsible for designing and executing highimpact events that support Verniers marketing sales and brand goals. This role oversees the planning and delivery of all marketingled conferences focusing on creating cohesive engaging experiences that drive leads and support customer relationships. The individual in this role collaborates across the marketing team and other departments to ensure events are aligned with business objectives and executed with excellence. The Senior Events Specialist also manages vendor relationships and continually evaluates event performance to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) in business administration marketing communications or a related field; and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the education market is strongly preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
