We are looking for an Engineer TIS PCSLD LD CPM Maintenance. This position is Accountable for configuring maintaining quality assurance testing and tuning leak detection Computational Pipeline Monitoring (CPM) systems and related technologies to achieve optimal leak detection performance in compliance with applicable regulatory Enbridge internal and pipeline specific requirements.

What you will do:
- Provides direct support to the Leak Detection Assessment and Support (LDAS) Team with leak analysis and leak detection system support.
- Provides technical subject matter expert resources to Leak Detection (LD) and MP/LP projects.
- Provides support for software initiatives related to pipeline leak detection.
- Responsible for the design configuration implementation and support of CPM based leak detection systems including testing tuning commissioning and installation of production systems.
- Monitors production leak detection systems performs root cause analysis and implements required updates following Management of Change processes.
- Provides Software Engineering knowledge for software developments performed within LD and supports LDs needs on software initiatives by others.
- Completes leak detection system checks to ensure continuous operations of systems.
- Reviews and regularly updates all leak detection model documentation to ensure latest standards and review cycles are followed. Recommends new or improved documentation and standards.
- Participates in rotational 24/7 oncall backup support to Control Centre Leak Detection Analysts.
- Evaluates leak detection systems and develops recommendations to LD Management for additional instrumentation to achieve improved performance with appropriate justification and assists with submissions into capital budget cycles and longrange planning program.
- Provides input into the development and improvements to Leak Detection standards.
- Delivers onboarding and mentorship to junior members of the Leak Detection team.
- Actively contributes to industry organizations (such as API) focusing on evolving leak detection technology and regulations by presenting at conferences and providing input to new industry standards.
- Actively participates in and may lead some department scorecard initiatives.
- Participates in incident reviews and risk assessments provides technical input and completes assigned corrective and risk mitigation actions.
- Provides information and technical expertise in responding to regulatory requests.
- Executes and recommends updates to applicable procedures best practices and guidance documents.
- Actively participates in the Enbridge safety culture.
Who you are:
- Registered or eligible to register as a professional Engineer () with APEGA.
- 4 years as a Leak Detection Engineer supporting liquid pipelines.
- Working experience in software development with knowledge of Python C or C.
- Previous experience using realtime transient model software and/or statistical modeling software.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Effective communication facilitation customer service and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Working Conditions:
- Work is conducted in an office environment during regular business hours.
- Participates in 24/7 oncall backup support rotation to support Leak Detection Analysts and production leak detection systems.
- May be required to assist with incident investigations after regular business hours.
- May travel within North America to participate in fluid withdrawal tests or attend training.
