Job Description
Candidates across Japan are welcome to apply though proximity to Tokyo is considered a plus.
Depending on your expertise and project fit you would:
- Lead or support event projects from briefing to execution
- Manage timelines suppliers and production teams with precision
- Oversee participant and delegate management including communications and database management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client processes
- Collaborate with internal teams in Europe external partners and local vendors
- Help deliver outstanding client service while keeping budget and quality on track
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in corporate event management (freelance or agencybased)
- Experience with pharma events such as congresses symposia or advisory boards (compliance knowledge is essential)
- Experience with the logistical coordination and/or creative development of corporate events.
- Fluency in Japanese & English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative team
- Experience working with crossfunctional and international teams and clients
- Eligible to work as a freelancer in Japan and open to both small and big assignments
Nice to Have
- Fluency in other languages in addition to Japanese & English
- Knowledge of event technology tools (Cvent SpotMe Zoom Webinar etc.)
