Job Description
Participate in Agile and/or Waterfall application development projects using the Microsoft .NET Framework C# and SQL.
Develop maintain and enhance applications by coding and/or configuring according to business requirements and best practices.
Collaborate with Solution Architects Solution Engineers Business Analysts Project Managers and other stakeholders to design and estimate development projects.
Consult and align application designs with organizational strategies such as Cloud First Mobile First and security initiatives.
Perform disciplined unit testing to minimize defects in newly developed or updated applications.
Manage and coordinate application releases system updates break/fix solutions and related documentation throughout the application lifecycle.
Ensure all development activities comply with established service portfolio policies procedures and standards.
Build organize and validate code segments for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in each release cycle.
Determine optimal coding approaches to meet current business needs and anticipate future enhancements.
Utilize Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL for database development and management.
Apply knowledge of C/C and JavaScript as required in application development.
Use Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel for documentation and presentation purposes.
Preferred: Hold certifications in ITIL Agile or DevOps methodologies.
Required: Minimum 2 years experience in C# .NET SQL and working in Agile environments; familiarity with ITIL or DevOps.
