Rankbreeze is on a mission to help Airbnb hosts make better decisions with data through thought leadership and automation. Our platform empowers shortterm rental owners with insights and tools to increase their bookings and optimize their listings.
Role Overview
We are looking for a and nbsp;Data Scientist and amp; Analyst and nbsp;to support both our and nbsp;Marketing and Product efforts. This hybrid role will mostly involve and nbsp;collecting and amp; analyzing data and nbsp;to generate reports for our users and and nbsp;developing algorithms and nbsp;that drive product innovation and improve user booking performance.
- Conduct data studies and nbsp;to help our users make better datadriven marketing decisions
- Identify key questions and nbsp;our community would like answered to help them get more guest bookings.
- Create engaging and accessible data presentations and nbsp;for a nontechnical audience using written and video formats.
- Develop and refine algorithms and nbsp;that help our users generate more bookings.
- Optimize and manage data infrastructure and nbsp;to support costefficient and scalable analytics.
- Democratize data and nbsp;across all teams in the company and amp; enable every team member to have their data questions answered easily on their own
Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Conduct data studies and extract insights relevant to vacation rental managers and amp; Airbnb hosts. Collecting both internal and amp; external data including utilizing web sing.
- Create compelling reports charts and video summaries to communicate findings.
- Present datadriven insights in an engaging and accessible format.
Data Science:
- Develop algorithms leveraging internal and amp; external data.
- Optimize and improve existing models.
- Contribute to AIdriven product strategies and enhancements.
- Implement systems to democratize data across all teams.
Data Management and Infrastructure:
- Optimize data lakehouse costs and efficiency.
- Working with platforms such as Googles BigQuery Databricks and Snowflake to manage and analyze data.
Required Skills and amp; Experience
Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience in data visualization and amp; presentation (e.g. Tableau custombuilt visualizations).
- Knowledge of Python and AI frameworks like PyTorch.
- Understanding of algorithm best practices for datadriven decisionmaking.
- Experience working with data lakehouse structures (e.g. Databricks Snowflake).
