Job Description
Our Client is one of the leading brands in the QuickService Restaurant Industry in Nigeria. Due to expansion they need a MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts including P&L balance sheet and cash flow statements.
- Provide detailed variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts highlighting key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets periodic forecasts and longterm financial plans in collaboration with operations and executive teams.
- Track performance against budgets and provide insights into financial trends and potential risks.
- Monitor and analyze key cost areas including food cost labor cost overheads and delivery expenses.
- Evaluate profitability at the store product and region level to support operational improvements.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor KPIs and costsaving opportunities.
- Support pricing decisions and promotional impact analysis.
- Assist with menu engineering and scenario modeling for new product introductions.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support external audits and tax filings as needed
- Help implement and maintain accounting systems and reporting tools.
- Recommend and support improvements in financial processes and data accuracy.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- A professional accounting qualification (ACCA CIMA CPA or equivalent) is preferred or in progress.
- 3 5 years of experience in management accounting ideally in QSR retail hospitality or FMCG industries
