Job Description
Simple Custodial Services is looking for a reliable handson Evening Janitorial Supervisor to lead our cleaning team. Youll supervise the crew ensure quality standards pitch in with cleaning tasks and manage supplies. You ll also use a company vehicle for supply runs and travel between job sites.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (2:00 PM 10:00 PM) with occasional weekend shifts if needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and restock supplies to job sites (company vehicle provided)
- Make sure buildings are cleaned properly by doing walkthroughs and inspections
- Train new and current employees on cleaning procedures
- Do laundry for mop heads towels rags etc.
- Help cover or fill in for cleaning shifts as needed
- Track inventory and help with supply ordering
- Write up simple reports
- Take care of other tasks as they come up
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Requirements
- Janitorial experience (required)
- Leadership or supervisor experience (required)
- Valid driver s license and clean driving record (required)
- Must be reliable and have transportation to our office
- Good communicator and team player
- Basic computer skills (checking emails filling out forms using apps etc.)
- Can lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet during your shift
- Spanish speaker is a plus
- Floor tech experience (like scrubbing buffing stripping) is a plus
Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and clean even minor areas of dirt, dust, or spills. Time Management: Efficiently complete tasks within scheduled shifts. Reliability & Punctuality: Must be dependable and show up on time for scheduled work. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 25-50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions. Following Instructions: Ability to adhere to cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. Basic Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Teamwork: Willingness to work with others and assist as needed. Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident authorized to work in the United States
