Job Title: Paint Prep
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday Friday 5:00 AM 1:30 PM
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Tulsa OK
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Paint Prep Technician to join our Tulsabased manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in preparing metal components for painting ensuring quality surface treatment and adherence to production schedules. The ideal candidate is reliable safetyconscious and comfortable working in a fastpaced industrial environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Transport parts to and from the paint prep area or staging area using carts
Hang parts on the conveyor line for painting
Clean raw metal surfaces using thinner and cleaning agents
Apply masking to protect areas from paint overspray
Spray primer or undercoating on parts as needed
Use an air gun to dry parts prior to paint application
Buff or grind rough edges to achieve a smooth finish
Apply caulking to designated surfaces
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 6 months of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Must be dependable and detailoriented
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting bending and repetitive motions
