Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Project Manager to coordinate and oversee projects to ensure efficient production processes and ontime delivery of highquality products. You will play a critical role in orchestrating the production process resource allocation workflow management and facilitating collaboration between crossfunctional operations and engineering teams.
A strong attention to detail and proficiency in production planning project management and communication tools are essential for success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Project Management
- Collaborate with various departments including Manufacturing Supply Chain and Quality Assurance to align production schedules with overall business objectives.
- Implement advanced scheduling techniques to minimize downtime and resource conflicts.
- Identify and assess operational project risks escalating issues appropriately and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
Process Optimization and Tooling
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the manufacturing operations.
- Leverage Confluence Oracle ERP Propel and other production scheduling tools to track progress manage backlog refinement and ensure accurate reporting.
- Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Act as the bridge between operations engineering and business stakeholders ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Prepare and present reports on project status key metrics and performance against objectives.
- Facilitate crossteam collaboration ensuring dependencies are managed and expectations are clearly set.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in a Technical or Life Sciences field (e.g. Operations Management Supply Chain Engineering Biomedical Sciences).
- 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Master Scheduler in a manufacturing environment preferably in the healthcare or biotechnology industry.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Smartsheet Oracle ERP Confluence Excel).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes capacity planning and scheduling techniques.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is a plus.
- Experience in IVD preferred.
Additional Information :
For positions based in Palo Alto CA or Redwood City CA the base salary range for this fulltime position is $90300 to $124200. The range does not include benefits and if applicable bonus commission or equity.
Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including but not limited to jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however there may be exposure to high noise levels fumes and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
