Job Description
Were seeking skilled Machine Operator to join a highperformance team. In this role you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to manufacture precision parts and assemblies to exacting tolerances supporting aerospace and mechanical systems.
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools to produce parts to engineering specifications
- Interpret blueprints sketches and technical documentation
- Determine tooling sequence of operations feeds and speeds
- Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Perform standard shop math and layout techniques
- Fit and assemble mechanical components
- Perform minor machine maintenance (e.g. filter changes coolant level checks)
- Deburr drill bore hone grind and fasten components as needed
- Operate multiple machines concurrently when required
- Move product across the manufacturing floor and complete system transactions
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with process control procedures
- Support continuous improvement by assisting and training coworkers
- Train toward and achieve MVP (Manufacturing Versatility Program) qualification
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications :
- CNC machine experience
- Formal apprenticeship or equivalent technical training/experience
- Able to work any shift and stand for full 8hour shifts
- Capable of lifting bending and working in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Experience with machining in a production environment preferred
Per Diem:
A standard per diem of $110/week is available for candidates who reside 150 miles away from the work location and meet eligibility criteria.
