Job Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible impactful and financial results for Visas network clients including issuers merchant acquirers and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting data analytics brand management marketing operational and macroeconomics Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
The Visa Consulting and Analytics team is looking for individuals to support the team on strategic consulting engagements.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual ideally with previous business experience.
Typical projects may include:
How does a financial institution increase market share in consumer credit cards
How should a credit card issuer use emerging technology to acquire the best customers
How does a financial institution grow their credit card portfolio while mitigating credit risk
How does a financial institution optimize their product offering
How does a merchant partner identify market expansion opportunities
How does a merchant cobrand partner accelerate onpremise acquisitions
Responsibilities:
- Play an integral role on a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients
- Complete consulting engagements with other team members including participating in interviews analyzing confidential client data and summarizing key findings
- Conduct industry research and identify internal and external data resources to create custom analytics
- Complete detailed analysis on client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data Develop clientspecific presentations which address executive needs and deliver presentations to clients and internal Visa partners
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
2 years of relevant work experience with a masters degree in business Marketing Data Analytics or related field graduating January 2024 August 2025
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent clientfacing communication storytelling and presentation skills with ability to articulate findings in actiondriven recommendations
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to process and summarize large amounts of
- data into key strategic insights
- Ability to form hypotheses on client issue root causes and validate thinking quickly using data
- Knowledge of finance and accounting a plus
- Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional
- experts
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to adapt
- Strong intellectual curiosity to understand the root cause of issues and how to drive value for clients
- Proficient and ideally a poweruser of spreadsheet and presentation tools
- An interest in learning advanced analytics tools (SAS R Tableau etc.)
- An interest in payments financial institutions or consumer lending a plus
- An affinity for payments technology and its future
Additional Information :
U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $95200 $121500 USD which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department
This is a hybrid position: Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.
