Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to join our team in Phoenix Arizona!
Responsibilities:
- Reading blueprints diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Installing aligning dismantling and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps fans tanks conveyors furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Operating hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation setup and repair of machinery
- Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Installing troubleshooting and maintaining power transmission vacuum hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Cleaning lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment.
- Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
Qualifications :
- Experience working safely in a heavy industrial setting
- Must be comfortable working indoors outdoors and exposure to the elements
- Proficient in welding
- Able to conduct and complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks and checklists
- Able to complete work orders and ensure any parts that are used are documented for reordering
- Eager to learn the proper operation and diagnostic capabilities of stateoftheart equipment
- Able to work independently and stay focused and ontask
- Able to prioritize urgency based on production requirements
