Job Description
We are seeking a fulltime CDL B Driver for our team in Cleveland OH. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our recycling facilities.
What youre responsible for:
- Operating a CDL B commercial vehicle to transport metal materials to and from designated locations ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Performing manual tarping if necessary
- Performing routine pretrip and posttrip inspections of the truck ensuring that it is in good working condition
- Completing accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- Valid CDL B drivers license with a clean MVR
- Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission is required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL B license experience
- Must be physically fit to hand tarp 40 and 53ft bins
- Customer serviceoriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required
- Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset
