Serves as primary contact to guests and team members upon arrival in outlet and on phone. Specifically responsible for the following detailed duties.
Duties
- Present menu to guests and respond to menu item inquiries professionally and accurately.
- Take guest food orders in person via telephone and follow department guidelines.
- Deliver guest orders following department guidelines.
- Confirm and complete daily reservation lists.
- Assist other positions in the department for support and assistance.
- Accept approved forms of payment adhering to accounting standards credit cards vouchers and inhouse charges.
- Greet all guests within visible areas.
- Select requested food items from serving/kitchen or storage areas and assemble items for guest pickup.
- Apply suggestive selling techniques to provide helpful guest service and maximize sales.
- Record information pertaining to services rendered.
- Arrange restaurant reservations for guests following department guidelines.
- Comply with department standard operating procedures including service standards cash/check handling menu interpretation safety and security stocking and requisitioning.
- Adhere to government and company safety security and sanitation requirements.
- Follow discount/complimentary guest check procedures.
- Participate in the companys monthly Goals & Measurements Program.
- Provide excellent service to owners and guests.
- Perform POS system responsibilities per guidelines.
- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints professionally and urgently.
- Maintain accurate department records.
- Follow guest walkout department procedures.
- Comprehend daily features/specials and memorize regular food menus and beverage lists.
- Apply menu knowledge to successful suggestion selling techniques.
- Complete opening running and closing duties as assigned.
- Conform to department training standards.
- Forward vendor supply invoices/package item detail slips to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Comply with department vehicle and key security procedures.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma or general education degree GED.
- The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Follow instructions without close supervision.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Required to pass a background screen drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
