Job Description
SGS is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Contaminants Laboratory team (Food industry). You will be responsible for sample preparation and extraction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGSapproved SOPs.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with ISO 17025 and SGS quality systems.
- Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff.
- Maintain organized auditable laboratory records.
- Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output.
- Maintain a safe working environment following Health & Safety protocols.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- Experience in a laboratory environment (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in working with food and fast paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance.
- Proactive approach to learning and development.
