You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere assembling a brand new team to build recurring payment capabilities at Wise something thats not been offered to our customers before.
This is a unique opportunity to build a 01 product and deploy at massive scale to all Wise customers Personal Business and Platform.
Wise Personal customers need autotop ups to ensure their Wise cards always have an available balance. Wise Business customers need to easily accept recurring payments from their international customers. And Wise Platform customers need a reliable API that allows them to leverage recurring payment capabilities through the Wise ecosystem.
The successful candidate will first build a robust recurring payments API for our partners; customers such as Morgan Stanley N26 and Ramp use our APIs to build fantastic crossborder payments experiences for their users.
After this well build the experience layer to offer recurring payments for Wise Business and Personal customers. A key part of this role will be to shape the strategy and roadmap to achieve this: which customer segment do we build for first and what payment management features are needed beyond just setting up a recurring payment
As youll be joining a brand new team youll also be responsible for shaping how the team operates: leading planning sessions setting effective OKRs and making sure the team is focused on solving the right problems at the right time.
Qualifications :
Youve worked with modern APIs and the technologies that power them. You dont need to be an engineer but you should feel comfortable working with engineering teams and making technical tradeoffs.
Youve also worked on frontend features/products that customers interact with at scale.
Youre comfortable using data both qualitative and quantitative to identify opportunities prioritise initiatives and refine the product strategy.
You can demonstrate how youve collaborated with engineers analysts designers and marketeers to successfully launched a new feature or product to market.
Youre customerfocused and care deeply about the user experience.
Youre comfortable with ambiguity and not knowing all the answers and can take complex situations and bring structure focus and direction.
Bonus:
Youve delivered recurring payment capabilities such as Direct Debits or Variable Recurring Payments in the past.
