Job Description
The Medical Office Receptionist will provide front office support in a physician office setting.
- Answers telephone promptly and courteously takes accurate and complete messages forwards or answers inquiries as appropriate. Schedules all patients according to policy and procedures.
- Collects verifies and performs insurance eligibility into the practice management system.
- Collects copayments or old balances and provides written receipts for all payment transactions.
- Provides coverage at various clinic locations as needed.

The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and roboticassisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery.
