Raytheon is seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) RF electronics electronics assemblies highpower distribution assemblies electromechanical assemblies cable/harness assemblies electronics rackmount systems/chassis circuit card assemblies and other similarcomplexity assemblies.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate failed electrical assemblies products components and software using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level with strong emphasis on evaluation handson experience.

  • Electronic troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge NOT through the use of prewritten stepbystep procedures

  • Strong sense of ownership and selfdriven to meet or exceed deliverable expectations.

  • Work with senior Electrical Engineering test technicians and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating repairing and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes.

  • Read and interpret Assembly Drawings and Schematics

  • Maintain control of all Electrostatic Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes.

  • Support the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects

*This will be a 2nd shift onsite role.*

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.

  • Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word Excel Power point etc.)

  • Active and transferable SECRET U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment including (but not limited to): DMMs Oscilloscopes Network Analyzers Spectrum Analyzers RF equipment etc.

  • Electrical Test Technical degree

  • Experience in RF troubleshooting

  • DoD experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

Location:

North Texas: salary range for this role is 56000 USD 112000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
