DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Equipment Operator A you will operate equipment and trucks with a gross vehicle weight up to 32000 pounds as well as transport consumers staff and materials at the Wernersville State Hospital. You will use vans buses and singlechassis trucks both on and off hospital grounds. You will also perform construction work maintenance work and equipment safety checks. This role requires completing daily assignments and the ability to determine equipment operating techniques and efficient work methods necessary to obtain results. In addition you will sanitize vehicles weekly assist automotive mechanics making major equipment repairs and demonstrate equipment operation to other employees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
- You will work every 3rd or 4th weekend.
- Overtime as needed and subject to emergency callin

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans buses and singlechassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10001 pounds or more;or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- You must be in possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania drivers license.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires you to obtain a commercial drivers license (CDL) within the probationary period.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will requirea medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
