Job Description
Mental Health Services (MHS) is a community based mental and behavioral health agency located in the heart of Springfield. MHS serves the Clark and Madison County area with Outpatient Services Adolescent & Youth Services and a 16bed Acute Care InPatient Unit open 24 hours located inside our Main Building on N. Yellow Springs Street. Our Madison County office is conveniently located in London OH at the Madison County Hospital.
MHS is currently hiring for aPRN Nurse (LPN or RN) to assist our Utilization Review Specialist as needed. In addition this position will work on the Acute Care Unit as a Psychiatric nurse as needed (12hour shifts 7AM7PM or 7PM7AM).
Candidates must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensed as an LPN or RN in the State of Ohio (Active)
- 13 years experience in a psychiatric or behavioralhealthsetting
- NVCI
- First Aid/CPR
MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff along with ongoing education and onthejob training opportunities.
All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years or for working with children) 5panel drug screen and residential candidates must have a 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment.
