The Maintenance Technician II role is responsible for maintenance and repair activities of machinery equipment and facility. Performs a variety of maintenance functions in and around the facility which includes providing routine emergency and scheduled maintenance to the building and associated equipment.
The Maintenance Technician II will perform manual tasks preventive maintenance inventory requests and maintains facility in top condition while assisting others and providing leadership support to junior members on the team.
Includes: project prioritization; monitoring work completed to move project along to meet agreed upon deadlines; reviewing manufacturer specifications; in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager planning and coordinating all aspects of the project such as determining who will complete the project (internal staff and/or outside contract/vendors) developing scope of work obtaining proposals and/or bids; inspecting for code compliance and safety regulations
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
This position operates in cultivation and manufacturing environments. This role routinely uses cultivation processing equipment and standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to individually lift up to 25 lbs. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
This position sometimes requires long hours and may work weekends.
Travel is primarily local during the business day as needed. There may be local weekend travel if need arises.
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance and general repair experience or building maintenance experience Knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and building equipment.
Preferred EPA Certified
HVAC Certified
Per state law must be at least 21 years of age.
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check. Must pass a drug screening
Must have reliable transportation
