Join the MartinTechnologies powertrain team as an Engine Technician and help us keep the industrys most advanced propulsion systems running at their best. If you can tear down build up and troubleshoot engines with confidence well teach you the specialized skills needed to run our dynamometers. This is a handson position with a direct growth path into full Dyno Technician duties.
Assemble disassemble & inspect engines for R&D and durability programs.
Set up test stands: fuel cooling exhaust sensor wiring and data links.
Perform functional tests (compression leakdown oil pressure etc.) and document results.
Diagnose mechanical issues quicklyroot cause repair verify.
Maintain a safe organized work area and follow all lab safety protocols.
Learn dynamometer operations sidebyside with senior Dyno Techscalibration control software and test cell procedures.
2 years handson experience with gasoline or diesel engines (shop racing dealership military or similar).
Solid understanding of engine fundamentals: timing fuel/air lubrication cooling.
Ability to read service manuals wiring diagrams and basic schematics.
Comfortable with hand tools torque specs precision measuring devices.
Strong teamwork and communication skills; detaildriven record keeper.
Willingness to work occasional offshift or weekend hours to meet test schedules.
Bonus points for: dyno exposure welding/fabrication or CANbus data logging.
