The role:
As a Buyer MRO Mechanical Consumables and Spares you will help drive our goals by:
Deliver fullyear savings and cash flow targets for Mechanical items/consumables/spares.
Collaborate with stakeholders to build a robust savings pipeline and deliver sustainable yearonyear productivity improvements.
Investigate and analyse demand management data to create accurate forecasts that support effective sourcing and tendering strategies.
Actively manage spend within the category ensuring strong governance and compliance with procurement processes.
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans manage supplier relationships and collaborate with crossfunctional and Capex teams to maximize value delivery.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 5 years in Engineering or Maintenance teams and MRO Mechanical procurement within sectors like Steel Automotive Tier 1 or Chemical industries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) ERP systems such as SAP and eprocurement tools.
Strong knowledge of procurement practices supplier management contract negotiations and endtoend sourcing project execution.
Proven ability to perform detailed POlevel analysis to identify savings;
Willingness to travel in Europe up to 30%.
