Provides management with uptodate reporting detailing success criteria compliance and identifies gaps and opportunities for improvement. Responsible for effective utilization of project resources including capital assets internal services etc. Works under limited supervision but within established guidelines. Adheres to department processes and standards for all customer satisfaction while delivering deployments on time and within estimates.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required Education & Experience:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education technical training or work/military experience
8 years experience in information technology leadership and/or technical implementation/deployment projects that include hardware/software.
Proven track record of effective partner/vendor engagement and management.
5 years in a project management role or equivalent time performing PM duties in other roles.
Ability to travel (up to 20%).
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Working knowledge of hotel application suites.
Experience setting up and using Jira for project management.
Experience with agile frameworks.
Experience/understanding of cloud technologies.
Experience with technology security concepts and functions.
Strong understanding of hotel property technical configurations and the impact on operations.
Strong understanding of property security and compliance requirements.
Strong project management experience.
Strong vendor management experience.
Experience in developing and delivering presentations technical and functional documentation.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Delivering Technology
Manage the implementation timeline for assigned deployments following standard project management mythologies
Maintain communications with coworkers and customers throughout the deployment timeline
Engage various vendors that interface with Marriott systems prior to and during implementation
Track and regularly report on status of assigned deployments and other projects
Provide logistical support for project team members
Manage and track deployment issues and risks; escalate appropriately to management
Oversee development and maintenance of project documentation
Followup with team members to ensure all implementation tasks are completed on time
Generate project forecasts and status reports
Responds to solves and makes decisions on standard/routine business requests with limited risk
Complete data collection of items pertinent to the deployment process
Ability to manage multiple overlapping deployments
Positive feedback from internal and external customers
Successful automated deployments for customers
Establish project benchmarks and completion dates defined for deployment tasks.
Advise customers on the most effective deployment for their request
Communicate potential issues to both Customers and PSS Management
Liaison with other groups (IT and Global Operations) as needed for successful deployment of property opening
Follow up with customer to insure all requested items are completed with deployment requested
Identifies gaps and opportunities with existing processes to improve and increase success ratio of deployments
Looks to streamline efforts to reduce potential break points in existing processes
Technology Governance
Identifies necessary changes to security compliance posture to protect the hotels from evolving risks.
Liaise with and escalates compliance challenges with Marriotts Global Information Security Team.
Demonstrates continuous improvement through metrics of quality consistency and client satisfaction.
Follow all defined IT standards and processes (i.e. IT Governance SM&G Architecture etc.) and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed.
Maintain a proper balance between business and operational risk.

The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $73.51 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
