Job Description

The Data and BI Architect bridges business needs with technical solutions by designing comprehensive BI architectures and establishing data frameworks. With deep domain expertise in core business functions this role translates complex data into actionable insights partners with stakeholders to identify analytics opportunities and collaborates with technical teams to maintain architectural integrity. This role drives the adoption of innovative technologies while ensuring proper data governance and quality standards to advance the organizations analytical capabilities. This role collaborates closely with data engineers QA analysts BI developers and business stakeholders to translate raw data into meaningful insights supporting TireHubs 400 users across multiple departments.

This role will report to the Business Intelligence Leader.

Role Specifics:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to build an expertlevel understanding of specific business areas and the metrics critical to driving performance.

Partners with stakeholders to translate data into meaningful insights that inform decisionmaking. Ability to independently search for identify and evaluate opportunities where advanced analytics can make positive business impacts.

Lead BI and analytics project delivery through collaboration with BI developers and data engineers.

Possesses advanced expertise in one or more core business functions (sales finance or operations). Leverages BI and analytical tools to uncover trends and identify exceptions to enhance operational excellence across various business units.

Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies through quick proof of concepts and pilots to improve platform capabilities that achieve business objectives and support analytics needs.

Develop and maintain enterprise frameworks for data models taxonomies and metadata

Establish technical standards and best practices for data management and analytics

Collaborate closely with data engineering and business intelligence teams to ensure execution of processes align with platform architecture frameworks and best practices

Work with IT security to maintain environment and objectlevel security protocols for the data platform ensuring appropriate user access while safeguarding data integrity.

Provide technical leadership for complex data and analytics initiatives

Partners closely with data engineers and other BI developers to review and refine data designs manage metadata and ensure data quality through standardized calculations report labels and balancing controls to support advanced analytics.

Operate within a teambased Agile/Sprint development environment contributing to the planning and delivery of highquality reporting and analytical solutions that meet stakeholder needs.

Demonstrates a commitment to learning by researching recommending and applying new data engineering techniques to advance the organizations analytical capabilities.

Ensures individual personal adherence to TireHub policies procedures and guidelines.

Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through inperson virtual or computerbased learning modules as assigned.

Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of Leadership as requested.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Data Science Information Systems or related field is preferred.
  • Masters degree is a plus.
  • 710 years experience in data engineering or similar roles.
  • 710 years experience in a business intelligence data analytics or a related role developing adhoc analytics and communicating results to stakeholders.
  • 710 years experience in Fabric/Power BI or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of data processing technologies (e.g. Spark Kafka Airflow).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Fabric) and their data services.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python Scala Java).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts data lakes and database technologies.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead crossfunctional initiatives.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Advanced knowledge of modern data stack tools such transformation data ingestion Fabric/Snowflake/Redshift for cloud data warehousing and similar modern tools. Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement emerging data technologies to solve business problems.

Expert level proficiency of Database/Operational Business Analysis (DB/OBA) and operational business analytics ensuring the design management and optimization of data models that support reporting and analytics. This includes proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries managing large datasets and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Expertise in working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for reporting and analysis. Excels at identifying business problems formulating hypotheses gathering relevant data and presenting findings in a clear actionable format.

Advanced analytical critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data inconsistencies errors or system performance. Proficient in identifying the root causes of issues utilizing debugging tools and techniques and providing prompt resolutions to ensure the accuracy and functionality of data solutions.

Advanced ability to translate learning into practical application showing the capacity to deconstruct complex problems identify innovative solutions and implement strategic approaches that drive meaningful outcomes.

Ability to maintain a high level of organization detailorientation and accuracy in handling responsibilities ensuring thoroughness in task and projects.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload adapting to changing priorities with ease.

Embraces intellectual curiosity and demonstrate a history of continuous selfimprovement.

  • A valid Drivers license with at least 2 years of driving experience required (3 years preferred; Does not include time on learners permits).

Working Conditions:

  • This is a fastpaced and dynamic operating environment.
  • Majority of time is spent sitting constantly viewing monitors in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. There may be occasions to move or lift light articles.
  • Must be able to work flexible hoursto accommodateroutinely criticalsystem changes and emergency events.

**This role is based in our headquarters office in Dunwoody GA and requires a strong in person presence.

**Must be able to travel up to 10%.
