Job Description
Redeemer Health Care Centeris currently seeking an experiencedHealth Plan Nurse (RN or LPN)to join our team! As a Health Plan Nurse your main role will be to serve as a liaison between residents and insurance companies. Our preferred candidate should have LTC experience along with experience with Medicare and patients insurance. We will train the right candidate.
Position Type: FullTime (No weekends or holidays!)
Shift: Days Monday through Friday
Wage Range: $42 to $48 / hour depending on experience
Location:625 W 31st Street Minneapolis MN 55408
Health Plan Nurse responsibilities:
- Liaison between the facility and patients insurance company
- Issuing notices of noncoverage.
- Workin collaboration with Admissions staff MDS and Unit Managers and Social Workers corporate billing therapy IDT.
- Document patient progress during TCU stay.
- Participating in the Medicare team meetings.
Health Plan Nurse skills and requirements:
- Registered Nurseor Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Minnesota required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferably in LTC.
- Experience with Medicare and patients insurance preferred will train the right candidate
- Proficient in computer software.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
