POSITION SUMMARY
Summary:
As the Manager Tax Compliance you will own the Companys income tax compliance process. This position requires excellent excel skills critical thinking and the ability to prioritize work to coincide with internal and external deadlines. You will have frequent interaction with all levels of internal employees as well as outside consultants (tax advisors auditors etc.) requiring effective communication skills.
Orientation and Onboarding:
All new JBG SMITH employees start their tenure at the company with a halfday orientation session that covers information relevant to all employees. Participants learn about the company its history mission and culture and how to find the resources and information youll need to be successful in your role as a JBG SMITH employee.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS)
The salary range for this position is $130000$150000 annually. In addition to base salary a discretionary bonus will be offered. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. JBG SMITH considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience candidates work location education/training key skills internal peer equity external market data as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
