Summary
Join one of the largest Japanese travel companies as a Hotel Reservation Staff. This position is responsible for maintaining and monitoring various inventory systems blocks and all hotel related things.
Responsibilities
- Handles all hotel reservations. Manages reservations and payments.
- Monitors inventory systems as needed.
- Problem solving Communicates with other offices and business partners to resolve customer complaints.
- Negotiates booking conditions with business partners.
- Develops and maintains good communication with internal and external customers.
- Hotel contract management Negotiates effectively with hotel suppliers as needed.
- Propose new products improvements and ideas to management.
- Seeks constant improvement more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by your superiors.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to your superiors for solution.
- Maintains good communication with your superiors office staff members and outside contacts.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Qualifications
- Possesses High School diploma or equivalent
- Possesses 01 year of experience in the travel industry or equivalent skills in ones expertise.
- Possesses sufficient knowledge and skills to perform daytoday responsibilities. Requires minimum supervision.
- Speaks reads and writes Japanese language.
- Legal work authorization in the United States
Working Hours
- Normal business hours between 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- May be required to work after normal business hours and weekends.
Working Environment
- Work can be performed remotely but may be required to report to the Torrance Office two times per month or as required.
- Infrequent (two times per year) domestic travel by air is required.
