Job Description

Service Manager Position

Our client a provider of comprehensive 24/7 preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair for condominiums commercial and institutional buildings is looking for a Service Manager. This role includes a generous monthly car allowance uncapped sales commissions companyprovided cellphone and laptop medical insurance and accrued vacation and personal days.

Responsibilities

  • Review and renew all agreements ensuring all relevant parties are aware of the terms and conditions
  • Train Service Technicians and Dispatcher to write and review detailed work order notes
  • Recruit and hire new Service Technicians and Admin support staff
  • Monitor service department budget and pricing to maintain planned gross profit goals
  • Conduct annual performance reviews with Service Technicians
  • Facilitate scope of work meetings with the service team before starting work
  • Order and ensure delivery of all equipment materials and subcontracts prior to starting work
  • Ensure subcontractors are vetted and insured properly
  • Address customer complaints within 24 hours
  • Maintain service vehicle fleet including inspections repairs and licensing
  • Coordinate with dispatcher to assign work for new contracts and projects
  • Conduct startup on all new agreements and train customers on new equipment
  • Lead and facilitate regular safety meetings with Service Technicians
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for project work within existing and new accounts

Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Resultsoriented individual with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal communication with team members and clients
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to recognize and pursue revenue opportunities through servicetoproject upselling
