Job Description
Were looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a new team within our Sensitive Data Scanner (SDS) group. The SDS groups mission is to be the worlds easiesttouse tool to discover classify manage and report sensitive data risks in cloud onpremise and in code.
This team will build and scale detection capabilities for Data Security in cloud storage: across blob storage thirdparty platforms and our customers infrastructure. As the teams founding manager youll have the opportunity to shape its roadmap grow the team and guide technical direction for a product with realworld impact and rapid growth.

What Youll Do:
- Build and lead a new engineering team focused on sensitive data scanning across cloud storage platforms
- Collaborate closely with product and other engineering teams to define and drive the roadmap
- Design and operate scalable distributed systems that handle largescale customer data securely and reliably
- Provide handson technical guidance and mentorship in Go and distributed systems design
- Establish a strong engineering culture focused on quality delivery and ownership
- Recruit and grow the team as the product and business expand
Who You Are:
- You have prior experience managing an engineering team delivering customerfacing products
- You have deep expertise in Go (or similar systems languages) and building distributed systems at scale
- Youre familiar with cloudnative architectures and storage systems like AWS S3 GCS or Azure Blob Storage
- Youre motivated by solving real customer problems and delivering business impact
- You thrive in a fastpaced highgrowth environment and enjoy helping others do the same
- You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent professional experience
