Responsibilities
- Working in a shift maintenance team of five reporting to a Maintenance Team Leader within the onsite Engineering function.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults on production machinery.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
- Produce accurate maintenance records on computerised maintenance management system.
- Participating in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute towards improving equipment performance and reliability.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Apprentice trained to level 3 minimum (multiskilled or mechanical with additional electrical qualification preferred).
- Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing company essential.
- Knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Welding and fabrication skills desirable.
- Experience with use of computerised maintenance management systems beneficial.
