About Us
Ngamai Wilam is a newly built 12bed residential eating disorder treatment facility in Armadale opening in May 2025. Jointly funded by the Australian Federal Government and the Victorian Government this statewide specialist service is managed by Alfred Health.
Ngamai Wilam provides 24/7 traumainformed recoveryfocused care for adults aged 18 and over in a genderinclusive homelike therapeutic environment. With a strong focus on family and chosen supports our approach is deeply personcentred prioritising dignity choice and longterm recovery.
As part of AMAH Statewide Services alongside WREN (Womens Recovery Network) Ngamai Wilam is at the forefront of innovative mental health care integrating Open Dialogue principles to promote collaborative and holistic recovery.
About the Role
This position is sessional and provides an opportunity to develop specialist skills in exercise physiology within an eating disorder and mental health setting.
