Job Description
Redeemer Health Care Center a Cassia senior community is hiring a dedicated Assistant Director of Food & Nutrition Servicesto join our team. In this role you will assist the Food & Nutrition Services Director with leading the overall operations of the department. You will also ensure our residents receive a firstclass dining experience through supervising and staffing exceptional dietary aides and cooks.
The ideal candidate is a ServSafecertified leader with largescale cooking experience strong regulatory knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Position Type:FullTime
Wage Range: $30 to $34 / hour depending on experience
Location: 625 W 31st Street Minneapolis MN 55408
Assistant Director of Food & Nutrition Services responsibilities:
- Assist in planning organizing and directing foodservice operations.
- Help ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Supervise daily food production and service activities.
- Maintain inventory order supplies and manage vendor relationships.
- Monitor budgets and help control food and labor costs.
- Assist in scheduling and managing foodservice staff.
- Train and evaluate kitchen and service staff.
- Support hiring onboarding and performance management.
- Promote safe work practices and staff adherence to food safety protocols.
- ServSafe certificate required or obtained upon hire.
- Knowledge of local state and federal food service regulations preferred.
- Large scale batch cooking experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
