The Global Security Incident Response Team (GSIRT) is part of Sonys Corporate Information Security Division (CISD). The mission of GSIRTs Strategy team is to ensure the organization is positioned to succeed now and in the future. This includes engaging stakeholders developing shared awareness increasing efficiencies forecasting initiatives and transforming the organization where needed. Strategy works with GSIRT leadership to identify organizational needs and develop then implement solutions that will add the greatest value to the organization.
POSITION SUMMARY
Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a full time Strategy Intern join the GSIRT Strategy team. This position will be responsible for providing organizational and administrative support to the team to improve efficiency in the teams work process and enhancements in existing strategy tools.
This position will be in person 12 times per week on average in the Reston VA office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update internalfacing team sites and migrate content from legacy sites
- Organize and enhance team documentation
- Prepare draft presentations Excel spreadsheets project timelines and trackers
- Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and monitor progress of projects
- Conduct vendor/product/market research
- Project management role for Strategy projects
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
Your qualifications and experience should include:
- Proficiency in O365 SharePoint PowerBI strong skills especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in data analytics using data analysis tools e.g. Excel pivot tables
- Project management skills
- Basic knowledge or experience in IT or information security preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with IT products and market
- Interest in working in a global media entertainment and technology company
- Adaptability
The target hourly rate for this internship is $21.00per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
