The Village at Brookwood is located in Burlington North Carolina and offers a full continuum of care services for older adults including independent living assisted living skilled nursing and memory care.
We are seeking personable friendly customer service able position typically performs the following functions:
Fulfilling A la Carte orders for dining room service.
Sees that all orders are plated accurately.
Has knowledge of the daily menu portion control.
Works closely with management regarding customer concerns.
Food prep and short order cooking knowledge a must.
Ability to follow basic food recipes.
Creativity with recipes and execution is encouraged.
Upscale dining and recipe knowledge preferred.
Assisting the sous chef and executive chef with inventory and ordering.
Setup and break down of food service areas post meal.
Onsite training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English be able to function as a team member can work a minimum of 5 shifts per week and to offer flexibility to work different days and shifts.
Completion of high school education or above preferred.
Cooking experience is required.
