Job Description:
This is maintenance and personal services work performing strenuous physical labor for a variety of tasks involving highway maintenance and construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing and settingup work zones; flagging and directing the flow of traffic; operating hand and power tools of all types; digging trenches setting braces erecting scaffolding and cleaningup debris and other waste materials; performing routine upkeep on vehicles and equipment; and conducting minor building and grounds maintenance. Work is performed under immediate supervision.
To be considered for this position candidates must meet the following experience criteria:
Possession of the above knowledges and abilities and be at least 18 years of age.
Licensing/Registration/Certification Requirements:
Some positions may require a Maine Class C motor vehicle operators license.
