Job Description
Physician office laboratory in Greensboro NC is seeking to hire a full time phlebotomist. Position is Monday Friday day shift. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Option to enroll in medical dental and vision benefits. Company paid life insurance policy. 401K enrollment available thru ADP TotalSource. Salary compares to area hospital system and reference laboratories.
Job duties:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture
- Process and prepare specimens for testing
- Perform patient demographic data entry into laboratory information system
- Collect and process patient billing information
- Maintain patient and specimen information log sheets
- Administrative and clerical duties as assigned
- Provide superior customer service
- Maintain HIPPA compliance
Job requirements:
- High school diploma and previous experience required
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
