Working in the Mines clinic provides the opportunity for work life balance that did not exist for me working in a hospital setting. Its easy to schedule doctors appointments during the work week and I dont have to take the entire day off plus I get to work out in the Mines Rec center or walk around campus or downtown Golden during my lunch. One of the biggest benefits is having every weekend and holiday off! That never happened working in the hospital. AmyRN
