We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager Logistics Lead
Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing the team of analysts who monitor and analyze the movement of goods for Brokerage. This role ensures timely delivery identifies issues or delays and works with internal teams and external partners to resolve problems efficiently. The Team Lead will leverage data and tracking systems to provide visibility generate reports and drive process improvements to enhance material delivery on time.
Responsibilities
1. Team Management:
a. Lead and mentor a team of Track and Trace Analysts.
b. Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
c. Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback.
2. Track and Monitor Shipments with Brokerage Providers:
a. Oversee the realtime status of shipments using tracking systems and tools.
b. Identify delays disruptions or exceptions in the supply chain and take corrective action.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
a. Collect analyze and interpret shipment data to identify trends and issues.
b. Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports.
4. Issue Resolution:
a. Act as the primary point of contact for escalated shipmentrelated issues.
b. Work with carriers vendors and internal teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies or delays.
5. Process Improvement:
a. Identify inefficiencies in the tracking process and propose solutions.
b. Implement best practices to enhance visibility and reduce delays.
c. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation.
6. Communication:
a. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on shipment progress and issues.
b. Collaborate with supply chain logistics and customer service teams to ensure alignment.
Required Skills
Sound knowledge MSExcel
Experience in supply chain logistics or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
Proficiency in supply chain tracking tools and software (e.g. ERP TMS Brokerage applications).
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
Leadership experience and ability to manage a team.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with supply chain visibility platforms.
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Understanding of logistics and transportation networks.
