Staff Nurse Outpatients
Shrewsbury Outpatients Bank contract Ad hoc
Up to 20 per hour dependent on experience

As a Staff Nurse in our Shrewsbury hospital youll be alert focused detailoriented and registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC. With postregistration experience youre a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
As an Outpatients Staff Nurse you will:
Show your passion for delivering excellent patient care
Working in a busy and fast environment you will manage a varied and interesting caseload in Outpatients services
Take part in a wide range of procedures manage clinics and apply your extensive clinical skills to aid recovery
Instinctively meet the needs of patients and their families offering comfort and reassurance
Work with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity in patient care
Enjoy more time to care and get to know your patients

Shrewsbury hospital ranked as Good in the last CQC inspection is purpose built and well equipped with 30 ensuite bedrooms 3 operating theatres an endoscopy suite an Ambulatory Care Unit and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes Xray Ultrasound MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matronled nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics ophthalmology cosmetic surgery and womens health but also undertake general surgery urology and interventions for chronic pain management.
