Job Description
Description of the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills a passion for customer service and a thorough understanding of restaurant management practices. This role requires effective supervision of staff ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Supervise and manage all aspects of restaurant operations including staff scheduling training and performance evaluations.
- Oversee banquet services and coordinate events to ensure seamless execution.
- Implement and uphold food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage shift operations to guarantee efficient service and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize POS system for order management inventory tracking and sales reporting.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure menu items are prepared to specifications and served timely.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong background in customer service with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Familiarity with food management practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar pointofsale systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
