This is a hybrid role. Candidate will be required to work in the Arlington VA office Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Senior Member Engagement Advisor (Account Manager)

SUMMARY
As a Senior Member Engagement Advisor you will be working directly with some of the most prominent corporations directors CEOs and CSuite officers. The Advisor helps members identify opportunities for enhancing governance in the boardroom by suggesting NACD content and events. This is a highly visible role directly influencing adoption engagement expansion and renewal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary contact for members throughout their journey: from onboarding through adoption support expansion and renewals.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with members.
  • Engages members in substantive discussions about board challenges and identifies relevant NACD solutions including resources events and services.
  • Collaborates with the Manager Member Engagement to build a targeted account strategy and success plans.
  • Monitors member usage and other content interactions to ensure accounts are engaged.
  • Identifies trends within the business environment and specific industry portfolios to drive utilization and tailored support.
  • Consistently achieves revenue goals within assigned portfolio and clearly communicates progress to goals.
  • Serves as a thought leader and content expert in the areas of board support corporate governance and related NACD resources and services.
  • Represents the voice of the member in internal meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • An undergraduate degree is required.
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience with client success account management sales or fundraising. Professional services experience or governance background is preferred.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with a companys board of directors and Csuite executives.
  • Must be solutionsoriented and comfortable with problem solving and conflict mitigation.
  • Ability to develop product/content usage plans.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities meet deadlines and followthrough with minimal supervision.
  • Experience using AI technology and data to drive strategic decisions and innovative solutions.
  • CRM Salesforce or other data management experience is preferred. Public speaking experience is also a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.

The salary/hourly range for this position is $78000$85000 with the potential to earn an additional $30000$35000 annually in performancebased bonuses paid quarterly. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience certifications etc.
