Sony Corporation of America is seeking a Detection & Response Engineering (DRE) Intern to fill a remote (or hybrid) role encompassing security monitoring detection engineering SOAR engineering incident response and threat hunting. This position will operate as part of a geographically dispersed Cyber Defense Team (CDT) within the Global Security Incident Response Team (GSIRT) working independently on guided projects and tasks while maintaining strong communication and collaboration across the team. This position will report to the Associate Director Detection & Response Engineering.

The target hourly rate for this internship is $21.00 per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
