The Instrument Processing 101 (SPD 101) Program is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the field of sterile processing within our Instrument Processing department. This program provides the highquality didactic and clinical experiences needed to help you become a wellrounded fully competent technician. The Instrument Processing team is responsible for cleaning and sterilizing all reusable instrumentation for the operating room and clinical spaces and is a key area to a patients outcome and experience. A selection committee will carefully review each candidates completed application and supporting documentation before the prescreening and interview process will begin. Upon acceptance into the program candidates will be paid an IP Tech hourly rate and are benefit eligible as of day 1 of employment. Candidates who complete the program will be awarded contact hours from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) remain in the department as a Sterile Processing Technician and be eligible to take the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Certification exam after completing 6 months of sterile processing experience.
Our expected start date for this program is June 30 2025. The first week you will be expected to attend orientation MondayFriday during the day. You will be in classroom training for the first 2 weeks. Training and class time for the 16weekprogram will occur during the day (anywhere between 6:45am to 5:30pm Mondaythrough Friday). Upon the completion or your training period you will be assigned your permanent shift. We are currently hiring for day evening and night shift positions.

InstrumentProcessing 101 programopportunitiesmay include: Decontamination Instrument Assembly Steam Sterilization Low Temperature Sterilization Instrument Storage/Management and Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing.
*Relocation is offered for those outside of a 70mile radius.
