Who Are We The Earth Elements Design Center supplies highend custom home interior finishes to the building industry. We are the complete onestop shop for Appliances Cabinetry Doors and Door Hardware Lighting Slab Tile and Wood Flooring. We currently have three physical Showroom locations throughout the NorthWest Region however our business is rapidly expanding across America and the Caribbean with our proprietary stateoftheart software solution. The Job
The Field Manager oversees installation projects performed or subcontracted by Earth Elements and is responsible for ensuring completion of jobs. The Field Manager will work with the showroom and warehouse teams to develop and implement strategies for achieving operational targets. Additionally the Field Manager builds and establishes good customer relationships by assisting field personnel in avoiding obstacles associated with operational policies and procedures.
Complete preinstallation job walks for cabinetry which include field measurements site status and schedule updates.
Handle escalated matters with installers and subcontractors and communicate with sales team and contractor team.
Managerial oversight of custom installations of cabinetry tile wood flooring and appliances.
Update schedules with Operations email walkthroughs and percentage of job completion after each site visit.
Be flexible and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Create safety awareness by actively observing auditing and coaching safe work behaviors.
Communicate job changes and updates to the Project Manager and Product Specialist.
Communicate with Installers on a continual basis to work towards culture and process improvement.
Manage Cabinetry installation schedule and subcontractor invoicing.
Engages onsite with installation crews and Subcontractors.
Provides Operations schedule updates and emails walkthroughs including percentages of completion.
Responsible for walking job sites prior to installation to ensure site is ready for subcontractor.
Coordinate and manage the efforts and resources of the installers.
Perform final punch list inspection of each project to ensure the installation meets Earth Elements standards.
Create and sustain relationships with subcontractors and customers.
Problem solving and creative thinking on the job site to ensure timeliness of completion communicating with the client or subcontractor for input and resolution.
Liaison for escalated issues.
Carry out the directives of the company in a professional and timely manner.
The successful candidate will have the following competencies: Excellent Communication Skills Computer Proficiency/Technical Capacity Time Management Customer Service Ability to Work in FastPaced Environment and Supply Management.
This position is responsible for coordinating sales associates site superintendents subcontractors and vendors if needed to complete installation of Earth Elements projects.
This job operates in a warehouse showroom and jobsite setting with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses equipment such as computers phones and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks box cutters heavy machinery (i.e. forklifts) and site tools such as handheld saws grinders measuring devices levels glue etc.
The employee is frequently required to lift stand walk squat kneel. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 75 lbs. frequently move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. and use heavy machinery for equipment up to 1000 lbs.
This is a fulltime position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with additional hours and schedule changes as needed for business purposes.
Travel is primarily local up to a two hour driving distance during the business day may be expected. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record per insurance eligibility requirements.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum of three years of similar experience required
21 years of age
Valid Drivers License and clean driving record able to meet insurability qualifications
