Job Description
Job Title: Dietitian Nutritionist

Job Type: FullTime Days MondayFriday 8hr Days
Pay Rate: $46$50hr Per Diem GSA applies to those 50 miles or greater.
GSA Rates:$145 Weekly Lodging$74 M&IE

Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dietetics and a passion for promoting health and wellness. This role involves working in various settings including hospitals and longterm care facilities where you will provide nutritional assessments develop dietary plans and support patients in achieving their health goals.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients to identify dietary needs and preferences.
- Develop and implement individualized meal plans that align with medical conditions and dietary restrictions.
- Provide guidance on tube feeding protocols for patients requiring specialized nutrition support.
- Supervise dietary staff to ensure compliance with health regulations and quality standards.
- Offer health coaching to patients helping them understand the importance of nutrition in managing their health.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate dietary recommendations into overall patient care plans.
- Stay updated on the latest research in dietetics physiology and nutrition systems to provide evidencebased recommendations.
- Educate patients and families about healthy eating habits weight loss strategies and proper aliment choices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Dietetics or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Completion of approved dietetic internship required.
- Recent 2 years of experience as registered dietitian.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
- Strong knowledge of physiology as it relates to nutrition and health.
- Experience in a hospital or longterm care setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tube feeding methods and protocols.
- Proven ability to supervise staff effectively and ensure highquality service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills for effective health coaching and patient education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Types: Fulltime Contract Per diem
Pay: $46.00 $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
