Frontend Developer
Position: Frontend Developer
Job Type: FullTime Remote
Location: Philippines or South Africa
Working Hours: Fulltime with overlap during 9 a.m. 5 p.m. Central Time (CT)
Salary Range: $1000 $1300/month
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor
About the Role:
We re seeking a highly skilled and proactive frontend developer to help build the user interface of a new social mediastyle SaaS platform. You ll work closely with the founder and UI/UX designer to bring intuitive and responsive designs to life. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys earlystage development has strong visual implementation skills and wants to make a direct impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain userfacing features using React / or Flutter.

Collaborate with the UI/UX designer to implement responsive and accessible interfaces.

Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and ensure seamless functionality.

Participate in daily Zoom standups weekly sprint planning and async updates via Slack and Notion.

Proactively suggest UI/UX improvements and optimize performance.

Occasionally handle urgent hotfixes on weekends if critical issues arise.
Requirements:

5 years of experience in frontend development preferably in hightraffic consumer or social platforms.

Strong proficiency in React / or Flutter.

Solid understanding of REST APIs and modern frontend build and deployment practices.

Fluent in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication skills.

Able to work independently and thrive in fastpaced ambiguous environments.

Must be located in the Philippines or South Africa and available to work during CT hours.
NicetoHave:

Experience working with realtime UI features (feeds notifications).

Previous experience launching earlystage SaaS products.
