Looking for an exciting opportunity to build and lead a sales team in Braslia Brazil and become a part of DNA testing industry

GenePlanet EU based biotech company a global leader in the field of preventive genetic tests; specializing in NIPT cancer screening and lifestyle DNA tests is looking for an ambitious Sales / Business Development Manager to develop (and lead) our local operations in the market. With a presence in 35 markets worldwide and a passionate team of over 150 employees GenePlanet collaborates with over 2.000 medical centers doctors and insurance companies to provide topquality tests based on the latest scientific discoveries. Our tests are designed to empower individuals to take control of their and their babys health as well as assist doctors with therapeutic procedures.

Were seeking a handson selfdriven energetic and resultsoriented professional to join our team staring on a projectbased cooperation that can lead to a regular position of Sales / Business Development Manager responsible for developing and leading our local NIPT operations.

Tasks

Your journey with GenePlanet begins with market entry project where your handson skills will be tested. You will get a blueprint of GenePlanet NIPT market entry where the most KPIs will be:

  • Brief market landscape overview
  • Setup of the sales infrastructure and adjust SOP (Standard Operation Procedure protocol) to local market requirements (from import permits sample collection points payment types and options coordinate localization of marketing materials with HQ etc.)
  • Prepare (and execute) recruitment strategy country wide.
  • Identify key factors for increasing product and brand awareness for the NIPT business.

As a potential Sales Business Development Manager (you can either opt to continue the career inside GenePlanet or not) you will play a critical role in driving the success of GenePlanets local business for medical genetic testing. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the HQ team to set up and develop GenePlanets local business while implementing a longerterm growth strategy.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local business partners including clinics medical laboratories and gynecologists to grow the local network and promote GenePlanets products and services.
  • Continuously monitoring the competitive landscape and proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • A medical background and working experience in the fields of gynecology and obstetrics knowing filed of laboratory sales is a plus.
  • Indepth knowledge of the local healthcare industry particularly in the private healthcare sector.
  • Firsthand experience in building sales teams recruitment and management of the team.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to act independently when engaging with key market stakeholders.
  • Excellent selling networking and negotiation skills to help build strong business relationships with local partners.
  • Proficiency in English is a must and any additional language skills would be a plus.

Having the following qualifications would be an advantage:

  • A higher education degree in biotechnology biology medicine biochemistry or microbiology.
  • Experience in setting up new businesses and launching new products.
  • Knowledge of the local NIPT market and competitive products which would help to inform our longterm growth strategy.
  • A personal network of local gynecologists or laboratories which would enable you to build relationships with key stakeholders in the market and further promote GenePlanets products and services.
